This semester (like most times) has been for me about staying with the trouble, of “learning to live and die well with each other in a thick present.” (Haraway, 2016). This work naturally becomes very messy and multi-tasked, and I always feel compelled to reach across my courses and integrate all that I learn into each other. Because everything is connected. Because my art is a very personal form of expression. Because I am tired, in my body and my mind. Because I want to try, despite that. Because you all inspired me so much.
Thank you.
